Lemongrass/Rosemary Salve

Lemongrass/Rosemary Salve is excellent for joint and muscle pain! This salve is chock full of many anti-inflammatory ingredients that are said to help possibly even help with conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, tired and aching muscles. I actually came up with this blend to assist in treatment of my own muscle, and tendon pain and joint stiffness that is a result of my genetic condition Ehlers-Danlos.

The following list will explain why I chose the ingredients in this muscle and joint relief salve:

Arnica ~ this herb is recommended for delayed onset of muscle swelling and has anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties. It is said to help disperse trapped fluid from joints, muscles and bruised tissue.

Yarrow ~ there are anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties in this herb. It is said to improve circulation and prevent the accumulation of uric acid in joints and muscles.

Lemongrass ~ supports the circulatory system and healthy joints and tendons. It has analgesic properties to help relieve pain by reducing inflammation. Helps improve blood circulation to help relieve muscle spasms and cramps.

Rosemary ~ is said to stimulate blood circulation which could help with healing. Has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties to reduce pain as well as antispasmodic to relieve muscle spasms.

Frankincense ~ promotes deep breathing to oxygenate area. Can inhibit production of inflammatory molecules and shows signs of being useful preventing breakdown of cartilage tissues.

Copaiba (my secret weapon) ~ the most powerful anti-inflammatory ingredient on the planet. Reduces pain and inflammation. Helps lower sensation of pain and is said to be very helpful with Fibromyalgia symptoms.
